Jorge Peña

I am an assistant professor at the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences of the Toulouse School of Economics and a faculty member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse (IAST), where I lead the Social Evolution research team.

I am interested in mathematical models of cooperation and conflict. My research focuses on different aspects of social evolution, collective action, and their mathematical modeling using evolutionary game theory and related approaches at the interface between evolutionary biology, the evolutionary human sciences, and economics.
